Description: The PMI-SVC PMO Forum is intended for anyone involved with or interested in the activities, operations and/or processes of Project Management Offices (PMOs). It is a monthly lunchtime forum and question/answer session on a variety of topics pertinent to anybody in a PMO, or to those contemplating joining or creating a new PMO.

Additionally, lunch is provided to those who register prior to the day of the meeting.

Meeting Frequency & Location
The PMO Forum meeting monthly, from January through October, generally on the 4th Wednesday of each month. Due to holiday conflicts, there are no meetings in November or December.

Project Management: Back to Basics

Every project manager knows the basics of project management from initiation to closing and the importance of documenting lessons learned. Oftentimes, managing a project requires going back to the basics: determine the business need, identify key stakeholders, and so much more. The 2019 PMI-SVC Professional Development Day will offer a variety of educational opportunities to understand the basics of project management.

The PMI-SVC is also celebrating its 30th year as a chapter and we are excited to share this special day with you. Join us to celebrate and broaden your knowledge and skills while you earn 6 PDUs!  What a great way to learn and maintain your certification!

PMI-ACP Exam Prep Class 2019

10-02-2019 6:00 pm -9:00 pm

For experienced Agile Project Practioners, this will provide the readiness to pass the PMI-ACP exam.

Class duration:  (7) classes to be held Wednesday evenings from 6 - 9pm starting October 2 thru November 13.

What's included: Full student study materials including study book, copy of slides presented, and three months access to on-line full practice exam; class to be taught by three experienced Agile practitioners with first hand knowledge of PMI-ACP exam (successfully passed the first time).

Contact hours/PDUs: Class would provide 21 contact hours of formal training needed to sit for Exam. If student holds other PMI certifications, 21 PDU's would be awarded as well.
