Stephayne Gascón, PMP, MBA, M.S.
Stephayne Gascón is currently overseeing a portfolio of strategic IT innovation projects and program for digital strategy and consumer experience projects at Adventist Health. Her industry background spans information technology, healthcare, governmental relations, higher education, and nonprofits. In addition to serving as chair for the PMO Forum, she was also a key contributor to launching the mentorship program for the PMI Sacramento Valley Chapter. An ardent supporter of education, she serves her community through teaching as an Adjunct Professor at William Jessup University's School of Business. She has also leveraged her early career training in local and regional governments to support nonprofits in their community outreach. She serves the Salvation Army as their Corporate Relations Chair and Board Member of their Sacramento Echelon Board.
Stephayne's knowledge base in the hard sciences and business enables her to apply methodologies across many functional areas and industries. She's earned dual master's degrees with an MBA from William Jessup University and a Master of Science in Agricultural & Resource Economics from UC Davis. She also holds dual bachelor degrees from UC Davis in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and Economics.
On her downtime you can find her fiddling with her harmonica on the shores of an alpine lake in the Sierras.
