Together, we are all facing the COVID-19 pandemic that is impacting our families, friends, communities and businesses around the world. The PMI-SVC Board met on 3/16 evening to discuss the unprecedented situation that we find ourselves in, as guidelines and new measures are recommended and/or enacted every day to mitigate the impact and spread of the virus. The Chapter will closely follow recommendations and guidelines provided by the federal and local governments.
We would like to continue to offer meetings to our members, and will be scheduling or continuing our Forums, dinner meetings, mentor/mentee meetings and perhaps some new types of meetings – all virtually using Zoom.
We will communicate each meeting through email to all our members, as well as announce these events on the PMI-SVC.ORG web page. We are hoping that continuing to offer meetings where your fellow PMI-SVC members can meet online will not only allow you to continue to gain your PDUs, but will also continue to support the PMI-SVC community as we all move through this together.
We will work with each of the Forum leads to discuss approaches, but the first all-virtual Forum will be held Wednesday March 25th at noon. Details and registration will be sent shortly.
