We are looking to fill three important positions for the PMI-SVC Chapter!  This is a great opportunity to get involved and serve the chapter.

1. Consultant/Contractor Breakfast Forum Chair:
The Consultant/Contractor Breakfast Forum is held on the second Friday of each month at Brookfield’s restaurant in Rancho Cordova (at Sunrise Blvd and Folsom Blvd intersection) from 7:00 am to 8:00 am. This is a facilitated roundtable discussion on agenda topics solicited from the attendees during introductions. The Forum Lead is responsible for preparing for and conducting the meeting and documenting the PDUs for attendees.   

2. Chapter Event Coordinator - Four Positions
As a member of the Dinner Team or a special event team, provides support as needed for the dinner meeting or event.

Deliverables
Participation in the planning, preparation, and execution of the dinner meeting or special event.

Duties 
Assist in finding locations and speakers for the dinner meeting events
Provide dinner meeting event form to VP Member Relations or VP IT for website and newsletter
Prepare dinner meeting slide deck with input from the chapter website, board and/or other volunteers
Help with meeting attendance tracking & check-in
- Name badge creation
- Check-in sheet creation
- Help at registration table for check-in and walk-in payments
- Help with set up and take downs​

3. Sponsorship Coordinator 
  • Reach Out to Preexisting Contacts & Build New Sponsor Relationships.
  • Pitch & Secure Sponsorship Opportunities for PMI-SVC Events
  • Seek new sponsors by taking referrals and searching different avenues such as the web.
  • Create and implement plans to attain sponsorships from different local area companies.
  • Plan, coordinate and implement events to bring together possible sponsors.
  • Review the sponsorship package options and update them as needed
  • Review and update timelines with event planning staff
  • Develop and maintain a database of current and prospective sponsors
  • Act as a liaison between sponsors and the company
  • Compose communication to be sent to the various corporations and businesses for the purpose of obtaining sponsorship funds and/or services in kind
  • Send out sponsorship package collateral in a time appropriate manner
  • Schedule and make follow up calls to these individuals
  • Ensure that sponsors are appropriately recognized, according to sponsorship package options by communicating sponsorship details to the event planning staff
    according to the deadlines established for promotional materials
  • Responsible for ensuring that corporate logos and accurate corporate titles are provided
  • Prepare and mail letter of thanks to all sponsors
  • Maintain accurate records of annual sponsorships obtained

4.  POY Committee Volunteers

The Project of the Year (POY) Committee is responsible for the process of nominating and selecting projects from the Sacramento Valley region to the POY Award.
The committee is also responsible for managing and organizing the annual celebratory Project of the Year Award Ceremony.
