Supporting the Community

PMI-SVC in the Community performs a dual role.

One role is to promote and increase coordination with other professional organizations.  Defining activities include:

  • Offering more opportunities to members.
  • Sharing resources and events of interest to all professionals.

These activities support the Chapter's vision of greater understanding of the value of project management and the importance of PMI in promoting project management as a discipline and profession.

The other role is to highlight the significant contributions of time, talent, and treasure that our members give to the community as planners, fund raisers, teachers, coaches, mentors, sponsors, participants, and in so many other ways.
