What you need to know about PMI-SVC Board of Directors Elections
Elections Cycle
PMI-SVC members will have an opportunity to vote for candidates in the positions for the 2025-2026 term (term start: January 1, 2025, to term end: December 31, 2026).
The open positions are:
- Vice President of Career Development
- Vice President of Events
- Vice President of Marketing
- Vice President of Operations
Election Timeline
- May 6: Nominations open
- May 22: Nominations close
- July TBD: ‘Meet and Greet the Candidates’ Forum
- August 5: Polls open
- August 19: Polls close
- September 4: Election results posted
Nominations
Interested in serving on the PMI-SVC Board of Directors? Someone can nominate you or you can nominate yourself. More information later.
The Election Committee accepts nominations for those who are eligible to run. Whether nominated by someone or self-nominated, proof of good standing membership with PMI Global must be provided to the Election Committee on or before the specified date.
Once vetted, Candidates’ profile and statement are posted on the Chapter website and to PMI Global for the ballot.
‘Meet and Greet the Candidates’ Forum
This ‘question-and-answer’ forum allows Chapter membership to meet the candidates before the polls open.
The date and location will be announced on the Chapter website and registration will be required.
Voting process
The voting process will take place electronically from August 5 to 19, 2024 (11:59 PM PST). Chapter members in good standing will receive a link to cast your vote.
The Election Committee partners with PMI Global for the voting process. It is important that your email is update with PMI Global thirty (30) days before polls open.
Voting requires you to be logged into the PMI-SVC website to validate your membership status. Use your PMI Global login credentials to validate.
The link is designed for one time use and you may only vote once. If you submit an electronic ballot more than once, your first submission will be the vote that is counted.
