Dinner Meetings enable members to meet and network every quarter with other professionals. All Sacramento Valley Chapter dinner meetings allow you to earn PDUs with an educational program consisting of one or two presentations, provide the opportunity to network with peers, and include dinner and/or dessert.
Professional Development activities provide for professional growth and development within the Project Management industry (including exploring the benefits of formal certification by the Project Management Institute). The chapter runs a Mentorship Program twice per year as well, giving opportunities for new project managers to work with and learn from an experienced professional.
Forums offer opportunities for members to meet and network every month with other professionals. Each Forum can include networking opportunities and presentations by featured speakers who discuss Project Management related issues.
- Geographic Forums provide an informal discussion venue for project managers to address project concerns and solicit ideas from other experienced project managers in the Sacramento Valley.
- Special Interest Forums focus on the practice of Project Management within Specific Interest Areas.
Workshops, Conferences and Seminars presented and sponsored by PMI and the Sacramento Valley Chapter are designed to deliver practical Project Management ideas and methods for building management and leadership skills.
