Business Agility: Prepare or Get “Blockbustered”

Hiren D. Vashi, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, CSP, SAFe-SPC5, AHF, ICP-ACC

Presentation:

Plot your course toward business agility!

Identifying and proactively responding to change is difficult when changes are exponential and the management framework is from the past generation.

On the other hand, awareness and understanding of a dual operating system enables the organization to minimize risk, maximize performance, and create a competitive advantage in this fast-changing market. Understand business agility and better prepare your organization (and yourself) for change!

Presenter:

Hiren Vashi is a coach, facilitator, teacher, and inspirer. His current focus is on improving the performance of State leadership and project teams through training and thought leadership. As an Agilist and a servant leader with over 28 years of experience delivering leading-edge IT solutions to various industries, Mr. Vashi has coached and trained many State organizations, executives, and teams on Agility and led many Agile transition and transformation initiatives. Mr. Vashi has helped a well-known author by reviewing his book, Scrum for Dummies, and writing a chapter on using Scrum in the Health Care Industry. Mr. Vashi is a lead community manager of the Sacramento Agile Leadership Network with over 190 government and private sector leaders in the group. Mr. Vashi is a certified agile coach and Scaled Agile Framework trainer, and he has trained over a thousand professionals on lean and agile topics.

The PMI-SVC Government Forum provides information sharing opportunities on relevant project management topics for anyone involved with federal, state, or local government.

The Government Forum promotes project management as a means to reduce cost, improve timeliness, and improve the quality of government projects. The Government Forum does not require reservations, and the informal atmosphere encourages a two-way exchange during the presentation.
There is no cost for the meeting, and PMI membership is not required.
