Implementing An Equity Dashboard Using Agile

In light of events in today’s society, racial equity has never been more important.  Please join us at the PMI-SVC Government Forum as Tim Luzano shares his experience with implementing equity dashboards for LADOT while leveraging an agile implementation methodology. We will explore applying an equity lens on key performance metrics, developing dynamic dashboards to measure KPIs, leveraging GIS capabilities to identify underserved communities, determining what specific actions can be taken to improve racial equity, and taking an agile approach to implementing these solutions.

Biography:

Tim Luzano is a Manager in Grant Thornton’s Public Sector State and Local practice. Mr. Luzano has over 16 years’ experience ranging from Public Accounting to helping State and Local agencies utilize Analytics to make data driven decisions. Additionally, Mr. Luzano leads Grant Thornton’s Center of Excellence for geospatial analytics leveraging ESRI’s full stack of technology. Mr. Luzano’s education consists of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Business Analytics.  He is also a Certified Data Management Professional, Certified Scrum Master, and a Project Management Professional.
