Presenter Biography:
Katie Munoz is known as a funny person, but she wasn’t born that way. She was born quiet, serious, and clumsy, which left her endlessly embarrassed. As a young adult, she finally figured out how to use humor as self-defense (i.e. If you laugh at yourself first, nobody else can laugh at you.) She is living proof that humor can be learned, even by an adult who is naturally serious.
She has been using her humor and public speaking skills ever since, as a software developer, a program manager, and a small business owner. In 1997, she taught her first How of Humor workshop, and has been teaching and coaching ever since.
Event Description:
