FOR THIS 3/16 EVENT --

Lisa Thee, author of GO! REBOOT YOUR CAREER IN 90 DAYS will be attending the PMI-SVC Career Development Forum at Brookfields Restaurant at 11135 Folsom Blvd, Rancho Cordova, from 7-8AM on March 16, 2024.

Lisa's book has won the 2023 International Impact Book Awards and is the 2023 Firebird Book Award Winner in Careers. We will be giving away TWO copies, and the book will be available for purchase at this event. We will gather in a fireside chat format so bring your authentic self and your career questions for exploration. You do not need to be a chapter member to attend this free forum. Attendees cover the cost of their breakfasts. 1.5 PDUs are awarded.

Create a career that is true to you. There are more challenges than ever facing you at work and at home: Many corporate cultures still struggle to fully respect differences. Health impacts at work and at home are rising from ever-present technology and the wake of COVID-19. And recession threats can wreak havoc on job security. As a result, too many rising stars like you get pushed out of the leadership pipeline, suffer through toxic work situations, or see their careers cut short. Don’t stay in a job that is the wrong fit. Go! shows you how to listen to your gut and make a thoughtful and savvy plan toward a truly fulfilling career. Equal parts validation, empowerment, and guide, Go! provides powerful examples of career transformation from a wide array of leaders and outlines a versatile 90-day career reboot plan. Go! also opens leaders’ eyes to work culture improvements that can help them keep stellar and diverse talent. Lisa Thee is a thought leader for cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, entrepreneur, member of multiple boards of directors, TEDx speaker, podcast host, and consultant. She helps businesses scale and lead in a world where people are demanding more from companies.

Learn more about our Career Development Forum!

PMI-SVC's Career Development Forum meets every third Saturday. We share our experiences and knowledge on a number of job search topics and conduct round table discussions regarding our efforts and attitudes relating to our job search. It is not necessary to be a current member of PMI in order to attend.

While meetings are open to all, we encourage membership in the PMI-SVC Chapter. There are no fees associated with attendance.

This group assembles every third Saturday of each month. Check the PMI-SVC calendar of events in case meeting dates change (due to holidays).

What participants can expect form attending:

Participants can expect to meet others conducting their job search, an opportunity to practice their "30 Second Me", and an excellent opportunity to network!

The only cost is what you order from the menu (with separate checks).

Meetup at the front door by 7:00am. We will be seated together, meet and mingle with others and expand your network.
