Career Development Forum
PMI-SVC's Career Development Forum meets every third Saturday. We share our experiences and knowledge on a number of job search topics and conduct round table discussions regarding our efforts and attitudes relating to our job search. It is not necessary to be a current member of PMI in order to attend.
While meetings are open to all, we encourage membership in the PMI-SVC Chapter. There are no fees associated with attendance.
This group assembles every third Saturday of each month. Check the PMI-SVC calendar of events in case meeting dates change (due to holidays).
What participants can expect form attending:
Participants can expect to meet others conducting their job search, an opportunity to practice their "30 Second Me", and an excellent opportunity to network!
The only cost is what you order from the menu (with separate checks).
Meetup at the front door by 7:00am. We will be seated together, meet and mingle with others and expand your network.

The Sacramento Project Management Institute Career Development Forum is honored to announce a very interesting speaker this month, Jackie Kirkwood will be leading a discussion on best practices for crafting a resume in today's challenging employment market. When you really want that job, a current and solid resume is critical to getting your foot in the door.
With an extensive career spanning both corporate and military domains, Jackie currently serves as the Senior Manager of Professional Services at Clutch, a certified Woman-owned business dedicated to facilitating connections between organizations and their ideal resources. Jackie will share her expertise and illuminate what she and Clutch seek in standout resumes.
Among Jackie's many accomplishments at Clutch, Jackie is deeply involved in fostering leadership excellence. She spearheads a Women's Leadership series for the City of Sacramento, empowering women to thrive in their roles through tailored workshops and insightful discussions. She also contributes to the California Department of Technology as a coach and facilitator, focusing on the development of the 6 types of working geniuses. Jackie's leadership ethos is rooted in her extensive military experience as a retired United States Marine Corps Veteran. Her PMP certification, is complemented by her dedication to resilience-building leadership as a Resilience-Building Leadership Professional Trainer (RBLP-T®) certified professional and Certified Working Genius Coach; Facilitator.
