Tech Tools Lunch & Learn
In this Tech Tool Lunch & Learn session, PMI-SVC member and guest presenter, Kiran Bandhakavi, will lead Participants through the creation of an agentic AI agent.
Participants will learn how to build a simple AI agent that can take a natural-language request and perform a real project task, such as validating information and updating a shared system (e.g., a tracker or log).
By the end of the session, attendees will be able to:
1. Understand what an AI agent is (model, memory, tools, and guardrails)
2. Design a basic agent workflow that avoids hallucinations and unsafe automation
3. Apply agentic AI to practical PM use cases like tracking, analysis, or experimentation
4. Recognize where agentic AI is appropriate — and where human oversight is required
