The election to elect board members to serve on the 2022-2023 term PMI-SVC Board of Directors (BOD) starts on October 22, 2021 and ends November 5, 2021.

All members in good standing will receive an email with a secure link to the PMI-SVC Board of Directors electronic ballot (e-ballot) to vote and election information. Please check your SPAM/JUNK folder.

1.  How long have you been volunteering for PMI-SVC?  

I have been working with PMI-SVC for one year.

2.  What roles have you filled?  

I am responsible for coordinating PMI certifications by planning, tracking and updating certification trainings on PMI-SVC website for chapter members.

Identify, assess and negotiate with vendors (ATP) to provide training to PMI-SVC chapter members. Establish and maintain cooperative, effective working relationships with vendors, and fellow volunteers.

Track and maintain and update training records of all conducted, ongoing, and planned training.

Contribute to create strategies to promote PMI and other project management courses.

3.  What do you enjoy about being a volunteer for the Chapter?

Being a volunteer for the Chapter has given me the opportunity to: learn and to lead activities that helped me and Chapter members advance our skills. I enjoy working with PMI-SVC because it helps expand my connections, and grow my career advancement opportunities. And most importantly I can help other grow

Find a Volunteer Opportunity

Make your mark on our PMI Chapter and the profession. As a member, you can volunteer to work on and to lead activities that advance the profession and support the chapter business operations by joining our chapter volunteer community. All volunteer openings are managed by the PMI Volunteer Relationship Management System (VRMS). This system includes the ability to search for opportunities, view details about each role and apply online.

Earn PDUs by Volunteering

Volunteering Project Management Professional PDUs can be earned as part of
Category D (Creating New Project Knowledge)
Category E: Volunteer Service (by providing volunteer, non-compensated project management, and many others).
Category F (Working as a Professional in Project Management), comprise the Giving Back To The Profession Categories.

Speakers for our Chapter's Events

PMI-SVC welcomes proposals from passionate speakers interested in sharing their experiences, knowledge and expertise on such topics as general business and strategy, leadership, project management, and technical or industry-specific specialties. Our Professional Development events provide professional development units (PDUs) of educational information necessary for those attendees maintaining certification designations. Speakers are also eligible to claim PDUs for their creation and delivery of the presentation material.
