The Project Management Institute, Sacramento Valley Chapter (PMI-SVC) Consultant - Contractor Forum primary objective is to promote an informal gathering of project managers, working in the Consultant or Contractor mode of employment, discussing (1) current topics related to this mode of employment, (2) receive suggestions from the other attendees on current challenges, and/or (3) share/receive information on other items of interest.

These meetings are open to anyone interested in our group and discussions. Typical meetings are facilitated roundtable discussions.  Agenda topics solicited from the attendees during introductions. We share our experiences and knowledge on a number of project management topics and practices. 

We meet online except for once per quarter – those are in-person meetings, starting with January 2024.
